FOR THOSE WHO SERVED

AID & ATTENDANCE BENEFITS

FOR SENIOR WARTIME VETERANS AND THEIR SPOUSES

Aid & Attendance is a tax-free pension for wartime veterans that helps offset the cost of assisted living, nursing home, or homebound care for veterans and their surviving spouses who are spending more than their monthly income on care.

Outlook Financial Center is a local Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) that has been rigorously verified by the Veterans Administration (VA).  We have strategically partnered with the Veterans Support Center of Michigan (VSC), a non-profit company that helps veterans and their families understand and apply for the Aid & Attendance benefit from the VA.  There is no pressure nor conflicts of interest upfront and VSC does not charge any fees to the veteran for their support in filing the veteran’s application with the VA.

Most veterans are either unaware of the tax-free Veterans Aid & Attendance program or have been declined.  The VSC currently has a 99% first time filing success rate and will bring in legal/financial resources only as needed to ensure veterans can meet the strict VA-guidelines for receiving the Aid & Attendance benefit.

We offer a total solution program that provides you and your loved one an easy way to apply without reinventing the wheel.  The application process can be time consuming and take months to accomplish without expert help.  You may still be able to qualify even if you have previously been declined.

The first step is to give our Veterans Support team a call toll-free at (866)667-9360 so we can get some preliminary information to make sure the claimant is eligible and potentially qualified. Once it is determined that the conditions are met, we will send you our VA Packet to begin the process.

To make the most out of your telephone interview, please be ready with the following information:

  • The service dates of the veteran
  • Dates of Birth for both veteran and spouse, if applicable
  • Medicaid information
  • Currently monthly cost of care (assisted living rent, home health, etc.)
  • Current monthly income
  • VA disability information, if applicable

Reach out to our Veterans Support team toll-free at (866) 667-9360.

For senior living communities that serve our veterans, we believe we can be a value to your facility with prospective residents.  Outlook Financial Center offers complimentary education programs at your facility to inform veterans help is available at potentially no cost to them.  Benefits can be enjoyed by both current and prospective residents.

Outlook Financial Center makes available a flyer that speaks directly to your prospective veteran resident and walks them through the initial stages of the process.  To schedule a time to learn more about how we can work together, please call our corporate phone number, (937)552-9990, and ask for Rob or Lori.

We are currently scheduling educational speaking engagements for 2018.
